5. Kosovo Council of Research and Technology
Institutional development, capacity building, policy advice and community-centred
operations of the Kosovo Council of Research and Technology.
The Steering Committee of the “Multidimensional Project in Institutional
Partnership” received information on recent developments in the Kosovo National
Research Council and decided to continue supporting activities in Component 5
and not to make any reallocations to other components. The SC welcomed the NRC
Action Plan for 2009 prepared by the NRC Executive Committee and approved that
KAIP supports its share of activities as foreseen therein and in full accord
with KAIP Component 5.
A study trip to Vienna with members of the board is under preparation for
December 2008.
This visit should bring the Kosovo experts together with:

- Centre for Social Innovation
- Austrian National Library
- „Rat für Forschung und Technologieentwicklung“ (Council for research and
Technology Development)
- Austrian Academy of Sciences
